The Uganda Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) Certification is a mandatory requirement for all goods exported to Uganda. It ensures that imported products meet Ugandan quality, safety, and technical standards, protecting consumers and facilitating smooth customs clearance.

What is Uganda PVoC Certification?
The PVoC Certification is an official conformity assessment issued after inspection, testing, and verification of products at the exporting country before shipment. It covers product quality, safety, labeling, and packaging compliance to guarantee adherence to Ugandan regulations.

Process of Uganda PVoC Certification:

  • Product Registration – Submit detailed product specifications, manufacturer information, and technical documents.
  • Document Review – Verification of certificates, test reports, and compliance with Ugandan standards.
  • Inspection & Sampling – Physical inspection and sampling of goods at the exporting facility or port.
  • Laboratory Testing – Conduct product tests to confirm quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Issuance of PVoC Certificate – Upon successful verification, the PVoC Certificate is issued, allowing shipment to Uganda.
